# Bill Splitter

Split a receipt with friends and keep track of who has paid you back, all from inside your Spendl Wallet.

Use it to divide a bill by individual items or split it equally across everyone. Scan a receipt or enter the bill yourself, assign each person their share, add a tip, and send payment requests without leaving the app.

## What You Can Do With Bill Splitter

## Ways to Add a Bill

When you start a new split, you choose how to add the bill:

* **Device camera:** sharper photos using your phone's camera
* **In-app camera:** stay inside the app while you scan
* **Upload photo:** choose a receipt from your gallery
* **Enter manually:** add items and people without a photo

## Split Modes

You can split a bill in two ways:

* **Itemized:** assign specific items to specific people so everyone pays for what they had
* **Equal:** divide the full bill evenly across everyone on the split

## Bill Details

When setting up a split, you enter:

* **Merchant:** the restaurant or shop name
* **Order total:** the receipt total before tip (required)
* **Tip:** add a tip to the order, or leave as none
* **Custom discount:** optionally apply a discount to the bill

## Managing Your Splits
